Lightning Strikes

It’s fall in New York, summer is fading. You can feel a cold wind sweeping through the alleys in the mornings even though the days can still be warm. The leaves are changing color, but the city still carries on as before. There are still a few weeks left until Thanksgiving and the major event that has the city buzzing is the Miss Super Beauty Pageant and conserts. You hear about it in the news, on talk shows and see it on billboards all over the city.

The gossip is buzzing, the news channels are keeping up with the contestants, influencers are competing to be seen and heard. Everything that usually happens and should happen before a big event.

You will get an urgent call to come down the arena.          ”...come immediately!..   but be discreet...”

This adventure takes place in a fictional New York and your characters should be people who are will-ing and able to investigate. You don’t have to have special abilities or superpowers yourself, but you will meet many with them. Ideally, your characters should belong to a group that normally handles security or investigates crimes, such as security personnel, detectives or a branch within the force.
